    Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a University Relations Recruiter to join the recruiting team. This position is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified candidates for positions across all corporate brands. The university relations recruiter will focus on helping to develop and execute a best-in-class campus relations strategy to advance the company’s university presence and recruit top-level candidates. The role is critical to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the entry-level talent acquisition process and the internship development program to ensure long-term success and conversion.  An ideal candidate will be extremely perceptive and able to relate to and develop relationships with individuals at all levels.


    • Coordinate and facilitate on-campus activities at target schools, including scheduling/conducting interviews and leading information sessions, activities and presentations with key clubs and organizations, etc.
    • Build and maintain relationships with target candidates, business partners, university officials, clubs and organizations, faculty members, department heads, etc.
    • Maintain the accuracy of university recruiting activities within the applicant tracking system
    • Source candidates through a variety of sources, including campus portals, referrals, networking, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Pre-screen candidates using all available screening tools including resume analysis, telephone screens, reference checks, etc.
    • Note all candidate correspondence in the ATS and tactfully communicate with all applicants not hired or determined unqualified for employment
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
    • Lead the internship development program, including coordination onboarding, orientation and paperwork, summer intern activities and exit interview process
    • Demonstrate effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
    • Negotiate salaries and clearly present compensation and benefit packages to candidates during offer process
    • Other duties as assigned


    • 2+ years of recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting, preferably in a sales-driven organization
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
    • Experience sourcing, qualifying and interviewing candidates
    • Extensive knowledge in full-cycle recruitment and candidate negotiation
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume recruiting pipeline (job descriptions, tracking systems, correspondence, etc.)
    • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
    • Must possess a high degree of business savvy and ability to use discretion
