    A sales internship with the Shamrock Trading Corporation family of brands provides students with valuable insight into the transportation and finance industries. Our interns are taught through a combination of formal instruction and direct guidance from an assigned mentor. The program begins with an industry overview and hands on system training. By the end, interns are selling alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, active business setting. Successful interns are offered full-time job opportunities at Shamrock after graduation.


    • Learn and perform all processes from lead generation and prospecting to qualifying and closing new accounts
    • Develop new business deals, negotiate business terms and lead negotiation process
    • Continually refine all processes as necessary to stay in front of customers in relevant industries
    • Track metrics for all programs and activities
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Graduation date of December 2019 or May 2020
    • GPA of 3.0 and above
    • Major in business, sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, supply chain management, marketing or economics is preferred
    • Desire to pursue a career in sales
    • Interest in transportation or finance industries
    • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
    • Self-motivated and hard-working
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent time-management and verbal communication
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Multilingual skills are a plus
