Responsibilities

  • Make prospecting calls- Develop new customers through networking and cold calling
  • Ability to make sales presentations to customers over the phone to close new business
  • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline in order to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Negotiate rates with customers and shippers
  • Manage day-day operations for your book of business, including customer and carrier communication
  • Provide a high level of customer service to meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Provide honest and proactive communication to your customers

Qualifications

  • Impeccable work ethic- ability and desire to make 50+ phone calls per day, every day
  • Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, along with 3+ years of sales experience
  • History of demonstrated success providing solution based sales over the phone
  • Ability to develop new business, gain trust and maintain customer relationships over the phone
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a competitive team based environment
  • Experience in a high call volume (cold calling) setting is a plus
  • Experience working with manufacturing or distribution companies a plus
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a high stress, high energy environment
