    This role will be responsible for working with the shamrock business units, clients, shamrock IT and Product Owners to develop out products that drive solutions that align with the company’s vision. The role will create/contribute to business case development, requirements articulation, project/program planning, testing, training and ultimately helping to deliver technology solutions that support the growth of Shamrock.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Gathering end-user data through field observation, interviews, customer feedback, analysis of tracking data and surveys
    • Identifying opportunities for new products, features or services and new target markets
    • Performing competitive analysis, raising company awareness to competitive threats
    • Interfacing with a development team to deliver quality products that meet market needs
    • Aid sales and customer-facing staff through training, joint sales calls/visits to key accounts
    • Use analytical and interpersonal skills, to reconcile conflicts, cope with rapidly changing information, convert high-level information into detailed requirements
    • Differentiate user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
    • Work with business owners to convert high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and prioritize requirements.
    • Represent the interests of the business and work with IT management to prioritize and schedule delivery
    • Identify ways to assist business in product planning through requirements development/analysis and propose new product features and updates
    • Maintain expert level of business functional knowledge and current technology
    • Communicate project information including approach, progress, forecasts, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
    • Provide guidance to projects on best practices and standards to utilize using Agile Methodology
    • Attending industry functions, conducting research into industry trends and educating management with projections and relevant, actionable market statistics

     

    Qualifications

    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Willingness to engage with customers and perform research into their needs
    • Ability to work well in cross functional teams
    • Some technical experience in software development preferred
    • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new skills
    • Well organized, analytical, innovative and problem solving
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Ability to lead and work with teams, be part of a team, and understand team dynamics
    • Diverse business knowledge and the ability to illustrate the linkage between projects and desired business results
    • Results oriented, hardworking, quick to demonstrate success, organized, focused and persistent
