    This position is responsible for the overall development of software for specified business units under the Shamrock umbrella. Incumbents work closely with Business Leads, Product Owners and Senior Management to coordinate application team tasks within projects. You will play a leading role in managing the delivery of large cross functional projects.This position will collaborate to define core business objectives in order to deliver the best product with the most efficient use of company resources. You will actively mentor more junior members of the team, improving their skills, their knowledge of our systems and their ability to get things done

    • Leadership and mentoring to the development team, including software architecture approach and design. (50%)Responsible for the overall application design.
    • Serves as expert in all aspects of designing and application development
    • Coordinates work teams
    • Provides technical support and mentoring to project team members
    • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Will report to an executive or a manager and represent them in work activities and meetings
    • Prototyping, proving in and justifying new technologies. Actively investigating and innovating on new technology solutions to solve business problems
    • Technical project management for multiple, complex development projects. (20%)
    • Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
    • Estimates and recommends project resource allocations to resource manager
    • Development responsibilities on multiple complex projects. (30%)
    • Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs
    • Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications/operating systems


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • 9+ years’ experience of software development and deployment of distributed multi-tier applications
    • 4+ years’ experience managing agile software projects across multiple distributed teams
    • Be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment – where change is the only constant
    • Detailed oriented to ensure that project success is paramount
    • Strong verbal ad communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills and an out of the box thinker
    • Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment
    • Be able to disagree, yet align, when dealing with different stakeholders
    • Results oriented with a strong customer focus
    • Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new computing architectures and environments; knowledge or relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical
    • Strong in both breadth and depth of experience with multiple programming languages and development techniques
