    Responsibilities

    The Carrier Specialist role is the next evolution of RTS Carrier Services to provide a best in class customer experience.  The Carrier Specialist will oversee a book of accounts to deliver on and improve upon the overall customer experience.  The Carrier Specialist will work with their book of clients to identify areas where the customer can maximize their fueling, find additional cross sell opportunities, and address any concerns and ensure resolution.  These resolutions should provide information on how to better serve our customers, increase retention, and gain more usage.

     

    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account matters
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
    • Identify ways to maximize profits and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Develop trusted relationships with key customer contacts, RTSCS Salesperson, and Operations Team
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
    • Clearly communicate the weekly/monthly initiatives to specific account as well as cross sell and usage initiatives:
      • Initiatives - Site Specific Discounts
      • Cross Selling - Factoring Referrals, Fuel Referrals (Refer a Friend), & Software
      • Book Performance - Increase in network gallons and usage of underperforming accounts, Increase CarrierPro usage percentage, & Increase customer retention
    • Track key account metrics as decided upon by leadership
    • Collaborate with salesperson to identify and grow opportunities within the book of business
    • Go the extra mile to engage customers
    • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

    Qualifications

    • Proven work experience in a client relationship/service oriented role
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate
    • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple account projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
    • Excellent listening and over the phone presentation abilities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, or relevant field
    • Bilingual skills are a plus
